The National Union Building, located in Chinatown/Penn Quarter, is an historic 6 story building with 28,000sqft of premiere entertaining and events space.
Designed by a young, local architect named Glenn Brown, the Romanesque, stone clad façade maintains period details such as soaring ceilings, curved glass, exposed brick, and an original wrought-iron staircase circling DC’s last central-core elevator cage. Inside are 7 unique, beautifully designed, completely private event spaces accommodating events from the most intimate gathering to large receptions. With unlimited layout options, our dedicated staff can customize each room and help you create the look and atmosphere that fits your event needs.
